Ingredients:
- 4 slices of bacon, chopped
- 2 cups homemade bone broth

- Remove the bacon and set aside, leaving the fat in the pot.
- Add the bone broth to the pot and bring it to a simmer.
- Poach or boil the eggs in a separate pot.
- Once the broth is heated through, add the crispy bacon and eggs to the soup.
- Season with salt and pepper, then serve hot.
Why It’s Healthy:
Bone broth is rich in collagen, which supports joint, skin, and gut health. It’s also full of minerals like calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus. Bacon adds healthy fats and a savory flavor, while the poached or boiled eggs provide protein and additional nutrients like choline and vitamin D. This breakfast soup is warming, nutrient-dense, and great for digestive health.
